The Ministry of Defence is conducting Aero India 2021 in a Hybrid Format from 3 – 5 February 2021, to complement the Physical Exhibition, in what is arguably the World’s first such Hybrid Mega Event. The virtual exhibition platform for Aero India 2021 will feature all exhibitors participating at Aero India at Yelahanka Air Force Station along with few select Virtual Only Exhibitors.

This format has been chosen after much deliberations, to not only overcome the restrictions imposed globally due to COVID-19, but also to aid defence preparedness for the Defence Forces, under current security situation, ensure uninterrupted business for the Defence Industry, as also help energize India’s move towards `Atmanirbhar Bharat’.

Under these global COVID restrictions on crowding and travel, the physical exhibitor stalls for `Aero India 2021’ have already been sold out with registrations from more than 500 exhibitors. The recent opening up of the Virtual Exhibition under what is arguably the World’s first such Hybrid Mega Event, provides a Golden Opportunity to Global Defence & Aerospace Industry to not only showcase their capabilities for the Indian market but also reach out to a wider Global Defence Business community, like never before.

The virtual exhibition platform for Aero India 2021 will feature all exhibitors participating physically at Aero India at Yelahanka Air Force Station along with `Virtual Only’ Exhibitors.

Aero India (Virtual) 2021, thus enables visitation by a large number of stakeholders nationally and internationally to advance the cause of Indian Exports in the Defence and Aerospace Sector. A large number of officials from the Ministry of Defence, the Indian Armed Forces, Defence Research & Development Organisation, Defence Public Sector Undertakings, Procurement Agencies from various countries, FOEMs exploring Indian companies for business tie-ups and partnerships are expected to visit the Virtual Exhibition.

Industry Members are encouraged to actively participate in this unique flagship event of the Ministry of Defence to interact with the Aerospace & Defence fraternity and explore business avenues in sync with the ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan’. The applicable fee for the virtual exhibition is as under:

  • MSME / Startup ((Registered in India) – INR 20,000/- (plus GST @ 18%)
  • Large Companies (Registered in India) – INR 40,000/- (plus GST @ 18%)
  • Foreign Companies (Not registered in India) – USD 1250 (plus GST @ 18%)

Business Vistors. In addition to exhibitors, the platform allows delegates to visit the virtual exhibition stalls at a nominal Gate Fees of INR 100 ($10 for foreign Delegates) and also participate in the various seminars or watch live Aero Shows from the safety of their homes.
