Fluid Wire Robotics is a spin-off of the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies that develops next-generation electric robotic arms for extreme environments, based on proprietary high-efficiency fluidic transmission technology. Our solutions combine lightness, robustness, force control, and adaptability, and are designed to operate in radioactive, high-temperature, underwater, outdoor, and space environments, enabling remote inspection, maintenance, repair, and intervention on critical infrastructure. In the defense sector, Fluid Wire Robotics is evaluating the integration of its arms onto mobile platforms for CBRN applications and intervention missions in hard-to-reach outdoor areas, including inspection, maintenance, debris removal, and first-response support.
Fluid Wire Robotics designs, develops, prototypes, manufactures, validates, and qualifies advanced electric robotic arms for extreme environments, based on proprietary high-efficiency fluidic transmission technology. In addition to these activities, the company provides research and development services for the implementation of remotely operated robotic solutions, not necessarily in the form of robotic arms-leveraging the same proprietary technology as an enabler for high-performance applications in complex and operational contexts.
