PMB Tecno was founded in 1990 by Piero Maria Bastianelli from the Italian defense sector. The company mainly deal Satellite – Software telecommunication systems and  customized communication system.

Flypointer system was the result of study and obtained the US patent as far as the certification of the private network on Low Earth Orbit satellite.

PMB Tecno is the leading company for the civil sector regarding the production and marketing of flight assistance systems regarding ground meteorological data of the Securfly system. This system is used in most of italian territory and it has been approved by ENAC (Ente Nazionale Aviazione Civile)

PMB Tecno recently renew its Flypointer line system and manages to integrate the cartography features in satellite device, ON-THE-MOVE. Recently, Flypointer becomes a unique tool of its kind and particularly useful in all emergency communications situations.
