Leonardo Expands Asian Footprint with New Vietnam Representative Office

In a strategic move to strengthen its presence in Southeast Asia, Leonardo, the global aerospace and defence company, has established a new representative office in Hanoi, Vietnam. This expansion marks a significant step in Leonardo’s commitment to the Asia-Pacific region and reflects Vietnam’s growing key strategic role in global sectors.
“Vietnam plays a fundamental role in the technological transformation of Southeast Asia. We hope that Leonardo’s presence in the country will foster a long and fruitful collaboration with this exceptional nation, which represents a strategic market for global companies,” stated Leonardo Chairman Stefano Pontecorvo who inaugurated the facilities on January 15th with the presence of Vietnamese Ambassador to Italy, H.E. Duong Hai Hung, and the Ambassador of Italy to Vietnam, H.E. Marco della Seta.
The new office will serve as key touchpoint for Leonardo’s operations in Vietnam, facilitating closer collaboration with local partners and customers. This strategic presence will enable Leonardo to better serve the region’s evolving security needs while supporting Vietnam’s ambitious plans for technological advancements.
Vietnam represents a crucial market in Asia-Pacific growth strategy, by establishing a direct presence in the country, Leonardo can better understand local requirements and provide more responsive support to Vietnamese partners.
Leonardo is a global manufacturer for helicopters, aircraft, electronics, cyber security and space solutions.
