Valbruna, che si avvale di tre Stabilimenti produttivi, 2 in Italia (Vicenza e Bolzano) e 1 negli Stati Uniti (Fort Wayne, IN), è oggi fra i principali complessi industriali del settore, grazie all’elevato livello qualitativo dei suoi acciai ed alla sua vasta e strategica rete distributiva, presente in Italia con diversi magazzini ed un’ampia rete commerciale, e all’estero con società commerciali localizzate in tutte le principali aree economiche mondiali.

Valbruna, founded in 1925, is a private company with 2,600 employees and an annual output of approximately 300,000 tonnes of specialty steels.

The company is a fully-integrated producer of stainless steel, high nickel and alloy steel long products with mills in Vicenza and Bolzano in Italy, as well as in Fort Wayne, Indiana – USA and in Welland, Ontario -Canada.

Its products meet the highest technical requirements for the most demanding applications, and it has an extensive global distribution network ensuring constant direct contact with customers wherever they may be located around the world.

Valbruna offers an extensive and versatile range of products that includes more than 700 grades of specialty steels such as: Austenitic, Martensitic, Precipitation hardening, Ferritic, Duplex & Superduplex Stainless steels; nickel-copper, nickel-chrome and ferro-nickel-chrome Nickel Alloys; Alloy Steels.

Production is primarily focused on Stainless Steels and Nickel Alloys, available in blooms and billets, ingots, round, square, flat, hexagonal and angle bars, wire rod, wire, reinforcement bars, threaded rods and chromium plated SS bars, with the expressed goal of satisfying the most sophisticated needs of the customer.

To that end, Valbruna is constantly updating its production capabilities and experience.

Today, Valbruna’s production of Stainless Steel, Alloy Steels and Nickel Alloys is utilized in varied industrial sectors such as food and pharmaceutical, aerospace, automotive, chemical and petrochemical industries, construction, energy, mechanical, medical, naval and many others.

For Aerospace applications, as aeronautical engines, structural components, fasteners & rivets, fittings & sensors and many others, Valbruna offers a range of highly specialized Aeroval® grades, able to offer the greatest performance in environments subject to great fluctuations of temperature and extended cycle fatigue while guaranteeing absolute reliability, operational safety and efficiency.

The Company quality assurance system is certified to ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D (aerospace standard) and AS9120 related to the distribution network in Italy, U.S.A., United Kingdom and Spain.

Valbruna is Nadcap accredited for:

  • Non-Destructive Testing – Vicenza Plant
  • Materals Testing Laboratories – Fort Wayne Plant

The product quality is fully compliant with the European Standards for Special Steels (UNI EN 10088) and with the strictest international standards.
